Video Transcript

" In the last segment we spoke about hot combs and how they need to be used. I’m going to use the hot comb on Fara's hair. She has really textured hair in the front; I want to get that hair straight. Okay, before I set to test that and I’m on that towel, I see it’s not hot, and I’m going to proceed to get it close to the hairline and bring it up like this. As you see it straightens out that hair making it nice and straight, again real close and up like that. You want to come close, bring it up like that, and not too close to the skin and as you see it straightened out her hairline making it really, really straight. You don’t want to use it on straight hair; you want to use it on textured hair, really curly textured hair. This is a good way to make the hair straight without using an iron. Curling irons can get close like this, but these combs do get close. Okay and you can actually straighten the hair; here we go."
