How to Apply Relaxers to Curly Hair

"On behalf of Expert Village my name is Liz Muller from Liz's Hair Design in Hollywood, Florida and today I'm going to teach you how to relax color treated hair. Now she is going to process faster because her hair is wavy. I want you to know if you have a client with much more curlier hair it would be a lot harder to process her. It would not be as easy. You would see the wave not really taking and you may have to work it through a couple of times. I'm going to work this relaxer through her hair at least 2 more times. Meaning I'm going to guide her hair and I'm going to proceed to do this here twice all the way around her head. Then I'm going to go ahead and check it and see if it is taking. If it is we would go ahead and rinse it out. But if again if it is really curly, we would work it a little bit longer than you are here with her now. You are going to work hers a little less because she has more wave. Again I'm going to go to the front working fast and coming over here dividing it. Just go like this, dividing the sections before and you want to push the section that you were on back away from you, back away like this and going to the front now to proceed to go ahead and keep relaxing.
