"On behalf of Expert Village my name is Liz Muller from Liz's Hair Design in Hollywood, Florida and today I'm going to teach you how to relax color treated hair. Before I start my relaxer, I'm going to protect my hand also. Like I said this is a strong chemical so you want to wear gloves, nice big strong gloves. So that way it does not get in your fingers because it is going to burn and it is going to bother you. The relaxer burns that is what it is, it would burn your hands. Then we are going to go on basing the client. You want to full base your client. The base could be in a liquid form like this. Some people use a form of Vaseline. I like to use professional base cause it is thiner and easier to work with. You would see right now I'm about to apply this on the hair. So I'm going to divide the hair like this and you know what I'm going to actually do this. I'm going to divide the hair in 4s and I would show you that in just one moment. "
