"On behalf of Expert Village my name is Liz Muller from Liz's Hair Design in Hollywood, Florida and today I'm going to teach you how to relax color treated hair. Today I'm going to show you how to do a relaxer on color treated hair. I would also touch base on how to apply relaxer on virgin hair, on hair that has just not been colored. We would go through those steps a little at a time. My model here as color treated hair as you see she is waited a while to get her touch up done, her relaxer. That is because color treated hair takes a while to relax. You don't want to go ahead and do a relaxer right after a color cause it could actually damage or break the hair. So it needs a couple of weeks break maybe 2-3 weeks. Then you can proceed to please your client as normal. She has really good thick hair but there is different types of textures that you relaxed. You just don't relax the hair, you can relax here that is fine. "
