"On behalf of Expert Village, my name is Lizbeth Muller from Liz's Hair Design in Hollywood, Florida, and today we're going to show you how to cut curly hair. Once I cut that area, what I do is I kind of look at the other side and make sure that she is straight and that I go ahead and measure from the last cutting point, which was here to here, to make sure it's even. I have it a little bit off the cape. Some people cut above their fingers. It's a different kind of measurement. I'll show you. It's like that. You look again. Make sure that it's evened off and straight down. Looking at all the points. I'm doing a square angle on her. Just a square straight across. I'm not getting fancy. You could do round if you'd like. If you were doing round, you'd go a little bit out like that to have that oval effect on the hair. That's if instead of straight across, you wanted oval, you go the sides of the hair. We're going to take another small section of a hair. Not too big because then you can't see the underneath."
