"On behalf of Expert Village, my name is Lizbeth Muller from Liz's Hair Design in Hollywood, Florida, and today we're going to show you how to cut curly hair. I'm going to make sure that her cape is nice and neat and that her head is kind of tilted just right. Just to make sure that the cut is not crooked. The customer doesn't have her knees crossed, which are important. I'm going to go ahead and pin this up like this. Just looking down on the hair, nice and easy. Looking at it, I don't know if you can tell how it is, but the hair is about right here. The cape is dark. I want you to just look very carefully. I'm down here and this on my fingertips are the length that I'm going to cut of the hair. Let me pump her up a little bit. It's best for me because I'm small. You pump her up and put her in the position that you need to cut this hair. Again, make sure that she's straight. I took a 1/4 section of her hair. 1/4 section down. I'm taking my scissors and I'm going to the side. I'm cutting underneath my fingers. "
