"On behalf of Expert Village, my name is Lizbeth Muller from Liz's Hair Design in Hollywood, Florida, and today we're going to show you how to cut curly hair. I'm going to go ahead and rinse out her hair now. I've done 2 shampoos. Warm water. Be careful. Make sure the client's comfortable. Make sure you rinse it out real well. If her hair was thicker, you really work real hard on getting the shampoo out. The curlier the hair, the harder it is and the more the hair, the harder it is to rinse out. Go ahead and condition this hair. Remember that a good conditioner is needed for curly hair. We're going to get into that in a minute, but notice how I just rinsed out all that shampoo. She has a lot in there. Make sure they're nice and clean before you cut. You'll feel a little squeak in the hair when it's real nicely shampooed. Pick it up. It's long hair. Squeeze it. Move around like this. "
