"So why only three colors? What is the three color theory? Three colors, really - there's no math involved with this, but I'm not going to bore you with those details. Just trust me. This works best with three colors. And again, make sure your colors; they are colors that you enjoy wearing that look good on you. So today we're going to build this capsule with three separate colors and we're using ivory, black and red. When you build a capsule, especially if you're just starting out with this concept, try to have one of the colors be a neutral. Actually I've got two neutrals in here with cream and black. But it really works well with neutrals because then you can add in accessories that have more news. So that's kind of the idea behind that three color theory. It really does work. So here is an example of some neutral colors. Well, of course we know black. That's one of our best neutrals. Everybody loves to wear black. Camel, so if you have warm skin tones, camel is great. Gray, a great neutral. Ivory. Here we go with some chocolate brown. Navy blue. And last but not least, pure white. So those are really good neutrals to start building the backbone of your capsule wardrobe, or really any wardrobe. Those neutrals will let you go furthest with your wardrobe. And then you can add in extra color with your accessories."
