"Now I'm going to add in my last ingredient to my soup, and that is going to be this frozen corn. If you don't have frozen, obviously, you can used canned corn. Just make sure you drain it. Go ahead and add it in to your soup. I've got a whole 16 ounce package here. You can add as little or as much as you would like. The great thing about the corn is it gives it some more texture, some more vitamins, and some nutrients. If you don't like corn, of course, you don't have to add it. There's several other things you can add that works really well with this soup. Black beans are a really great addition. Just make sure if you add black beans that you drain them off. Canned black beans are excellent. Put them in at the very end. Drain them off. Other things couple be fresh carrots, fresh celery would be excellent, all kinds of things. Soup is a great way to use up any kind of leftover vegetables that you've got floating around in your refrigerator."
