"O.k. we're going to start with how to fold a button down shirt without a collar. In my case this one it's actually a sweater. So for a button down the first thing that you need to realize is that the buttons need to be buttoned. Now this might seem kind of tedious but it really makes the shirt one, one shape; you don't have any ends hanging off or anything like that. So button all the buttons you have, you can see that I'm missing one but that doesn't matter as far as folding goes. Now that their all buttoned, you want to turn the shirt over and stretch it out. Once you do this a few times you sort of get used to it. And you want to even it out, so like stretch it out so that the hem; the hems match up at the bottom and it's pretty much laid flat. Now starting with one side you want to, you can lead with the sleeve; fold it up like this and make sure it's an even fold all the way around. I actually used this sweater because you can see the ribbing on it. Now this one's a little bit off, but if I go like that you can see that this ribbing goes all the way up the outside of the fold so that you know that it's; it's pretty even. You can see that it's sort of stretched out. And for the arm what you want to do is make two folds, you do one back like this so it's hanging over and then one back up so that it looks like that. And now we're going to do the same thing on the other side. So let's say I do it on this seam, I fold up like that and you make sure it's a uniform; a uniform flow all the way along. And then once again, one fold; one up. Now the reason you do this with the sleeves even though it seems like it would make it bulkier is so that they don't hang out the sides. And so once you've done this, you want to really carefully fold it up from the bottom and flatten it out. Now it looks like it's bulky but it, it really isn't. It's much less bulky than if you hadn't folded it. And so you can just see from the front now that it's really, it's nice and flat. You can stack a bunch of sweaters on top of it. And even though I'm missing a button you can see that didn't get in the way of the folding at all."
