"So, the final touch on your Goth look once you've worked on the boots, decided if he Victorian look is for you, maybe worn in some of your black items of clothing is accessories. And so you can see I'm wearing long gloves, which again are Victorian reference point. They can be long gloves. You can wear short fingerless gloves. They could be lace. Once again they are black. If you're going for a basic and you're not going for texture you really really really want to stick with black. I'm also wearing a black choker with my other necklace. The choker is a Victorian reference point as well, as is the layering of the pieces right here. As far as bags and other sorts of accessories, the bags should sort of follow the same rules as the clothing that I was talking about earlier. Messenger bags are very popular with patches on them or writing on them. The bag should really be personalized and they shouldn't look new. You could have a black canvas bag. Also, certain patterns or ideas are very popular. You know I kind of come back to this skull shirt because the skull is a very popular symbol as far as Goth culture goes. Also, the use of bats, the use of spiders, any sort of darker reference point really works with this. And so these pieces are going to sort of really where you can be creative. You know, you can just cut a piece of lace off the top of a stocking and that can be a choker. If you're just wearing black jeans and t-shirt, but you put on the gloves and you put on this it really adds something to the outfit. And don't forget to experiment with your hair and your makeup and take it a day at a time and see what suits you the best."
