"Hi! I'm Marchelle with Elements Univeristy on behalf of Expert Village, and today I'm going to be talking to you about the importance of gift certificates. Gift certificates can generate a lot of income for the salon because it's cash money right then and there that can be redeemed later. Gift certificates are great for your clients to suggest to your clients for gifts for family members, for all different seasons, for Christmas, bridal shower, baby shower, graduation gift. That's a really important buisness aspect for the salon. It can generate a lot of money. In our salon in general, we have a goal each month of gift certificate sales that we have to reach in order to stay on track for our projected year. Learning how to talk to your clients about gift certificates can be a lot of money in your pocket and it's great for the client too. This is Element University's gift certificate. This is our gift certificate Chelsea. Remember that bridal shower you were talking about needing an idea for. This is a great idea that way your sister-in-law can come in and have a pedicure or have anything that she needs to have done for that wedding. It's a good idea for that type of a thing. It's good to make suggestions to your clients. Sometimes they don't even know that it's available, so if you tell them about it and let them decide, you'll be surprised at how many people will go ahead and do that. Watch our next segment on how to complete your client ticket. "
