"We've rinsed off the skin. We're going to use a softening gel, an enzyme, and we're going to go ahead and apply it to the skin, and we are going to steam. We want to steam a little longer on an acne client, because skin really, really needs to absorb the product into the pores so that we can do a deep cleaning. The sebum as we call it, has really settled into the skin and we need the steam and the enzyme and the softening gel to soak, so that everything will start to loosen. We don't want to damage the skin while we're cleaning it. We want to make sure that we prep the skin properly. So we're going to start on the next preparation, which will be the softening gel and the enzyme. So, I'm going to put that together while she waits here. Now, this is a powder and a liquid, and we're just going to take it and mix it together. Give it a minute to blend. The liquid and the powder together, the powder is the base of what really moves the acne and helps us to do the cleaning. It's a papaya enzyme. And the enzyme goes to work with the softening gel, which is really just a deliverer for the powder, which is the papaya. So it will, along with the steam, just help soften everything. "
