"LAUREN FARRAHER: My name is Lauren, and on behalf of Expert Village, I'm here to talk to you about curly hair updos that you can do at home. As you can see, I went ahead and I curled those last sections that we've put into Ashley's hair. So that way, I can kinda bring them into the back. Now, what we're going to do is you're going to want the hair to be a little bit manageable for you because you don't want to saturate it with products or hairspray. What I'm using is a fiber-based product. Getting it really kind of--really getting it all over my hands, mushing it around, emulsifying it. And I'm going to take these pieces and I'm going to separate them. You want to very lightly go through. You don't want to pull that curl out. So very lightly, you're going to kinda separate your curl and go over it. She already has everything here. You can also get any flyaways that may pop up. And you just want to kinda cause good separation. You can twirl them in order to keep that curl in, keep that bounce. It's usually a good way to get them to stay. And just kind of go through and you're going to separate all the different pieces. You got to remember not to saturate them with product 'cause, number one, your curl will fall out; and number two, when we go into pinning the hair, it's going to make it a little bit harder for you to actually work with the hair and manage it. So just keep separating, pulling and giving that little twirl just to define those curls that you've already put in."
