Summary: Looking for nail art designs and patterns? Learn about the various options you have for nail art in this free video clip from a professional nail artist.
"There are many different types of nail art designs that you can apply to natural or acrylic nails. One is airbrushing. There's also the hand painting. Something that not a lot of people do, but it is, it was popular at one point, is nail piercing, where you actually put a hole in the nail and then you put a ring through it, and clip it together so that your fingernail is actually pierced, kind of like your ears are. That does not go through the nail bed, though. It only goes through the free edge. You can also add rhinestones, into different shapes. We have different shapes, different colors. And you can make all kinds of different designs with rhinestones, just makes the nails real pretty. There are decals that you can put on, that are kind of like a sticker as this one. Again, pretty much any kind of sticker that is smaller than your nail plate itself can go on there. There's also different little designs that are kind of like rhinestones, but they're actually made more like the ring itself for the nail piercing, that you would just stick on top of the nail, instead of through the nail. On the nail piercing, you can also have charms that actually dangle off of them. You can also have actual designs made out of acrylic that you can form, and then polish, and then apply to the nail bed itself. And that is the different types of nail art that you can do, other than hand painting."
