"Ok, you're going to start polishing the nails with a base coat. Again, I like using a sticky base coat. It makes the polish adhere to the nail better, makes it last a little longer. Again, I'm going to start with just the pinkie nail. If I can get my bottom open. Some people tell you to try to use three strokes to try to get the polish on completely. You're very lucky if you can do that, it generally does take more. You do want to take your time though. Try not to get it on the skin, or the cuticle. You're going to start with the same hand, same nail, and just apply it to all ten. When you get done applying the base coat, you're going to want to allow it to dry for two minutes before you put the first coat of polish on. When you allow it to dry for two minutes between each coat, it lets the polish harden just a little bit longer, so that you don't have as much dry time at the end. You may need to occasionally re-dip your brush in the bottle, get some more polish out. If you do get any polish on the skin or cuticle, you can go ahead and take the brush, dip it in acetone. The one that I used, I use the one that I use for my French smile lines. You can just dip that in and clean up around the natural nail. You can also take a Q-tip, or an orangewood stick and dip it in acetone and clean up around the nail, if you happen to get any on the skin or cuticle. And this is how you apply base coat to all ten of the nails, to start your polishing. "
