"The next step in preparing the natural nail for acrylic application is to sanitize your hands and also the client hands. You can do this by either washing your hands with warm soapy water, for thirty seconds to a full minute, or using a hand sanitizer, for an example, is Germ-X. There are different brands out there, again, you're going to want to rub your hands for at least thirty seconds to make sure that you kill all germs possible. If a client has a cut already on their hands, it might sting just a little, but this way they don't get infection into any open wounds they may have. Make sure you get the fronts, backs of your hand. Go ahead and do the wrist also and between your fingers. Once it's all rubbed in, it'll dry on its own naturally, and that is how you and your client can sanitize your hands for the application of the acrylic on the natural nail."
