"Hi, my name is Leslie Moselle, and I'm from Tampa Florida, and on behalf of Expert Village this is how to iron a dress shirt. Chapter eleven, the right side. Whether you want to start from the right side or left side of your shirt doesn't matter. I like to start from the right side and work my way around the shirt. So what I do is I take the shirt and I just try to fit is as snuggly around the top of the ironing board, from the shoulder, and then all the way down. Since we've already ironed our button area we can just go ahead and work from that spot up. Once your shirt is nice and fit across the top of the ironing board and laid flat you can apply starch. I guess the area that you want to focus on when ironing the right side of the shirt, this is a particularly easy area to iron for the most part. But the areas that give you most difficulty is usually the areas around the seam and underneath the arm. Those are the areas that you want to focus on the most, making sure that it's fit across the ironing board so you can get a nice, pressed look. I'm focusing on the seam, ironing right over that thick seam, and making sure to get all the spots where you spray your starch. And that is the right side of your shirt."
