"Hi, my name is Leslie Moselle, and I'm from Tampa Florida, and on behalf of Expert Village, this is how to iron a dress shirt. Chapter ten, under the buttons. A real sensitive area when ironing dress shirts or any of your shirts with buttons is the button area. A lot of people try to fit the tip of their iron in between all the buttons, which is fine, until you pop off some of the buttons like I have in the past. So my suggestion and the way I like to iron my dress shirts is I just take it and I flip it with the buttons face down to the ironing board. Just apply the starch to the inside of the shirt, and I iron over the buttons from the bottom. It still gets tough if you still get, you know, may get a little bit snagged, but this is so much better when ironing around the button area. You don't have to worry about popping off those buttons and then rushing to sew on a button again early in the morning when you're ironing your shirt for work. This is just a really quick method of ironing around that area. Then you just flip it back over and it's perfect."
