"Hi, my name is Leslie Moselle, and I'm from Tampa Florida, and on behalf of Expert Village, this is how to iron a dress shirt. Chapter nine, shoulders. The shoulders of the shirt is a hard area to iron. It's really important to not get that line across the top of the shoulder. If you mind and you're not took picky about your ironing, it's okay, you can iron it the way you want. But, I really like to get into detail with ironing dress shirts in particular. So what I like to do is I just take the shirt and I slide it over the small end of the ironing board. It's a perfect spot just to get into the shoulder spot of that shirt and just the top around the collar, just to get a better ironing result. Spray on a light coat of starch. This is really nice, you don't have to get that line from the sleeve going all the way up to the shoulder of the shirt. You get the top part of the right and left panel of the shirt, get around the collar. You can do that on both the right side and the left side. The ironing board is made the way it is for a reason to get into these particular areas of shirts and pants, just to give you that ease of ironing, and to get that detail. That leaves you with a nice result on the top of your shirt. "
