"Hi, my name is Leslie Moselle, and I'm from Tampa Florida, and on behalf of Expert Village, this is how to iron a dress shirt. Chapter two, check the tag. Before you start the ironing process, one of the most important things to remember is to check the tag of the shirt that you're deciding to iron. A lot of dress shirts, such as this one, do need to be dry cleaned, or you have to take special care of the shirt, either when you're washing it or ironing it. The most commonly place to locate the tag on your shirt is underneath the collar. Some shirts will have the tag located in a different section of the shirt. This one here is on the left panel of the shirt. This will tell you whether it needs to be machined washed, dry cleaned, warm water, cold water. But it will also tell you whether it can be ironed or if it needs to be dry cleaned. This shirt here is a hundred percent cotton, so it is safe to go ahead and machine wash it and to iron it with your iron at home. But that is one of the most important things to remember is to check the tag of your shirt so that you take special care of your shirts, and they'll last longer."
