"Hi! I'm Lillian with Expert Village and I'm will continue on now with do it yourself home pedicure. After we've completed the buffing we are now ready to apply the polish. But before we apply the polish you want to separate the toes so that they won't touch one another, so you won't smear the polish onto the other toe. They sell toe separates that you could pick up for about a dollar at your beauty supply house. I don't have one available today so I'm will impervious using cotton and I will show you how that works. I'm going to pick up a strip of cotton and I'm going to weave it through each toe like so and that separates the toes from one another and you wont smear the polish onto the other toe. "
