"This is Lillian with Expert Village and we would now continue on with our do it yourself pedicure and the next step is going to be trimming the toe nail and filing them. When you trim your toenails your going to want to use a toenail clipper and coarse emery board. I use a coarse one because the toenails are a lot thicker then your finger nails so you are going to want to use a coarse one on your toenails. You simply start with the toenail clippers close it just comes it and you just flip it around and start trimming to your desire length. After you have trim all these toenails to the length that you want them then you could get rid of the rough edges by simply shaping the nail. To the shape that you want it. Usually when you get a French pedicure you usually leave the shape rather square if you just want really short toenails and no color or with color you could do them round and even a little bit shorter then you would if you where going to get a French pedicure. That is completed and then we would just continue on and do the same thing on the other foot. "
