"Hi, I’m Lillian Garcia with Salon in Scottsdale and on behalf of Expert Vilage.com we are going to talk today about the plastic cape needed and how to put it on and wear it during your home permanent. First of all you are going to want to go to the supply store and purchase a cape that is plastic and it is real important to get a plastic one so that the wave solution won’t seep through the material capes. So anyway you are going to buy a cape at the supply store. Don’t think they sell these at the discount stores but at the supply store you can buy these capes. The easiest capes for people to do by themselves are the ones that have Velcro on the neck which is going to be fastened around the neck. They also have clip ones and snap ones. Try to stay away from those. They are all about the same price; about $6.00, they are reusable but the Velcro ones would be the easiest ones. So you are going to have your hand towel that we talked about earlier. The easiest way to do it is you are going to put this over your head like this and then you are going to open up your cape and throw it over your shoulders. Before you throw that over your shoulders you are going to crisscross the towel in front of you. You are going to want to throw the shoulder area over your neck and then easily attach it with the Velcro behind and the towel drops; easy as that. If that is too hard for you or if you can’t reach real far back, another way to do it is instead of having the towel underneath the neck the plastic part of the cape you are just going to put the towel over your shoulders, get one of your little clasps and just tie it there. Just like that. "
