" Hi, my name is Lillian, I am with Salon of Scottsdale in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and on behalf of ExpertVillage.com, and I am here to tell you about why you may not be a good candidate to receive a Microdermabrasion treatment. If you have Rosacea or eczema - Rosacea is a redness around the nose and face area/cheek area, you may not be a good candidate because the wand is going to go across the face. You are going to do the treatment across the face and possibly get it more red. Eczema as well, there is eczema on different parts of the body that you do not want to treat it either. Also, if you have active acne you may have a possibility of puncturing the pimples and spreading the infection. Herpes simplex is a virus also, warts. Those are viruses that you do not want to go over with the wand and then possibly spread it over the rest of the face. If you want to remove a tattoo, it is not a good idea to try Microdermabrasion, you probably have to go to a doctor and have laser treatments done. Tattoo might just lighten the outer skin but it will not remove the tattoos. Other than that, I think that you are pretty safe with every other type of skin condition dried acne, you will dry it out more and get rid of the scars. And I think that would probably be all of the concerns with Microdermabrasion. "
