"Hi! I am Lillian with Salon of Scottsdale, and on behalf of Expert Village.com, we are all ready to apply the color. I have mixed my color and my peroxide; my hair has been parted. And as I told you before, a good thing to do is to apply the color on the partings before you start taking the sections down. So what you do is you get a small amount of color. I am going to turn to the mirror and apply the color on the new growths only, on all the four partings that I have done like this…small amount, apply to the new growth only, all the way down to the nape of my neck. And it is kind of guess work; you just have to go by the feeling of the color, not knowing exactly how much you are putting on each section. Again as you could see, probably see, it is spilled, but it is spilled on my old towel, so it does not bother me that it fell there. Now I have put color on all four sections. Now the piece of hair that I have down, I will start applying the color with the tail of the brush. I will get a one fourth inch approximately section, get a little bit of color, and apply it, again, just to the new growth. And then I am going to continue on down the line in the same manner, dropping each piece and continuing on with the rest of the hair."
