Techniques for Retouching Hair Color

"Hi! My name is Lillian with Salon of Scottsdale, and on behalf of Expert Village.com, I am here to show you two different techniques people choose on which to apply a color. First we have the older version of doing it, which is still very, very used and very easy for some people, and that is the bottle application. The bottle has the different measurements. First you empty the coloring, and then the peroxide; and then you screw on this plastic top, that has a very pointy tip on it with a very small hole; and that is easier for some people to use, and you put the color on that way. Another technique, that is a more modern way of doing it, but whatever is comfortable for you, is the bowl and brush technique, which you pour the color and the peroxide into the bowl. You mix it and you apply it with the brush. Those are the two different techniques to choose from."
