" I’m Lillian with expertvillage.com, and I’ve completed applying the base coat to all my ten fingernails. Now I’m ready for my nail coloring. At this point, you could stop and just leave a clear coat. A lot of women prefer that. I prefer to put a coloring on my nail. What you’re going to want to do is you’re going to gently kind of shake the nail polish. You don’t want to shake real hard because it could get bubble effect and bubble on your nails. If you gently just mix it like this, it works best. I’m going to open the top of the polish and I’m going to wipe the excess polish on the side of the jar just not to get so much. I’ll start with my thumb nail. I’m going to lean firmly on a surface so that it won’t get too much on the skin. Start from the base and work up. Then continue on to the next nail. I’m going to apply two coats of polish, and the reason being the first coat sometimes doesn’t cover it as well as you’d like and it’s a thin layer and you could kind of see the nail underneath. Two coats just makes it a nice dark color and a true color to the bottle color and it just looks better. Now if you get nail polish on the skin I will show you how to remove that excess polish too. You don’t really have to be careful not to get it on the skin because it’s very easy to take it off the skin as well"
