" I’m Lillian with expertvillage.com and I’m going to show you how I’ve arranged my supplies to get started with my home manicure. First of all, I’ve gotten some cotton balls and that’s the first thing that we’re going to use to remove the old polish with the nail polish remover. Then after we do that we’re going to file. I’ve selected a pretty coarse emory board to shape my nails with. I’ve also for my decals as you could see, I moved the decals over to the corner because they come on this sheet that have a little sticky substance behind them so I loosened them so that when my nails already have the polish on them I could pick them up easily with the tweezer. Then I’ve also gotten my little basin of water and I’ve used just regular kitchen dish soap. I made it warm and soapy just comfortable to your touch. I prefer to use the metal pusher although some people prefer the wooden pusher and it just depends what your preference is, I have both of them, I will use the metal pusher. With the opposite side of the metal pusher is a pointy type of pusher, and with that I will clean under the free edge. Then I put my nail buffer on the table as well. My cuticle softener as well as my cuticle cream. My nail polished, my clear base coat, my top coat and I’ve selected a mauve color as the nail paint today. Then last but not least is the nail polish dry which is not necessary it just speeds up the drying time of your nail polish, and it looks like we’re ready to get started."
