"I'm Kelli. On behalf of Expert Village, I'm going to show you some tips and techniques that you can use to create a silver and gold holiday look. The first thing we're going to do to prepare us for our eye shadow is to apply a little bit of eye shadow primer. We're just going to take a little bit of this and we're going to apply it to her eyelids. Basically what eye shadow primer does is it works as a magnet for your eye shadow. It helps your eye shadow go on a lot smoother, go on with more vibrancy, keeps it looking fresher throughout the day so it will prevent creasing and caking. Also too, it just makes your eye shadow look a lot fresher. It also makes it easier to apply. If you feel like you have a really hard time blending your shadows together or getting them to show up when you're applying them to the eyelid, using a primer can really help with that. Basically, if you want to insure that your eye shadow and eye makeup will stay looking fresh all day and all night long, use an eye shadow primer. "
