Applying Shimmer Powder to Makeup

"So the next thing we're going to do is set everything with a little bit of translucent shimmer powder, just to give the skin a really nice, fresh dewy glow. So, we're going to take our kabuki brush, put a little bit of our shimmer powder on there, and we're going to concentrate most of it on the high points of the face. So, the forehead, the nose, the cheeks, and the chin. These are areas that would naturally be hit by the sunlight. So, it's going to create a really nice glow when the sun hits that area. The shimmer and the powder will reflect light away from imperfections to give a much brighter look to the skin. After we apply it to the high points, we're just going to blend it out over the rest of the face to give her a nice all over dewy glow. This will also keep her foundation on and looking really nice and fresh throughout the day as well. So that's how you would want to set your whole look using a shimmer powder. "
