"Hello, I'm Kerul Kassel on behalf of Expert Village. In this segment we're going to talk about growing yourself, by growing your opportunities. Sometimes when we're accomplishing goals we get stuck. We feel we have few options, it's this or that and neither of them are attenable. So, we don't feel like we have many other options. But we do. How do we find those other options because those other options are the difference between accomplishing goals and failing. So, remember, the bigger goal, the bigger the baggage. The emotional baggage that's going to be attached to it. When you're doing something big all your stuff is going to come out and that's completely normal and expected because if it wasn't then there'd be something to worry about. So expect that when you're accomplishing something big, all that stuff is going to come up and have some methods for dealing with it. What seems painful or difficult you often resist. But, what you resist will persist until you work through it. So let's take a look at this board you've got right here. And I want to talk about "stop, caution and go." A lot of time when we hit a block or there's some kind of pain or resistance we use it as a stop. It stops us and we feel like oh, if there's pain or resistance then I've got to stop. But instead, that pain or resistance has some good information for you, it's just a caution. If some critical voice in your head is telling you, what are you doing? Who do you think you are? Don't use it as a stop, use it as a caution. That voice in your head is trying to prepare you for success. So you can answer that voice with, well here's what I'm doing and here's who I think I am and this is what I want to accomplish. So then you can go from here to here. Don't let those voices and those lack of options stop you. Some other methods for having new options, reading, reading new things, reading all kinds of things. Networking, going to meetings, going to conferences and workshops. All of these things open you up to new ideas, new possibilities, new people who may have some good ideas for you or new opportunities for you. Using all of this will grow your opportunities and grow your accomplishments by growing you."
