"Hi, The next thing we are going to be doing, we are going to be applying the acrylic directly to the natural nail with the tip. So let's get started. Okay, we are going to take the finger, the artificial finger, this is the liquid monomer. What you want to do is take your dropper put it down inside it get the monomer out and I have already placed it in this glass container. And you always want to make sure you got one with a lid because this stuff is very strong and it's very toxic. So always make sure you use a glass container that has a lid. We will go ahead and just put that lid back on there. Also to you are going to need your powder. We have white and pink. This comes in many different shades. We will get into that a little bit later. But here are two powders right here. What we are going to do is take your nail brush right here put it in your hand, you got your finger right here, we are going to take our liquid monomer, dip your brush into the monomer, just like that. So I got my liquid monomer on my brush. We are going to go into the pink powder and what you want to do you want to dip that in there and just kind of drag it across that powder. And see how it kind of starts to form into a liquid? Then you want to get that and you want to and you want to apply that directly on that natural nail. Let it set there just a little bit and you kind of pat it a little. And what this does we are starting to create the artificial nail and if it is still not quite wet enough just get you a little bit more monomer on there. Pat that on the natural nail. You can just kind of shape it around there. Can you see how it's starting to form onto the nail? You kind of just have to pat it on there. Smooth it down. You want to make sure you don't get it too thick cause then you are going to have a lot of excess filing. See how that just goes right into the nail just like that? Use your little towel right here and dry it off some. Kind of pat that down. You want to dip your brush right back into that monomer. We did the back side now we are going to use the white. The white goes over the top of the nail up here. So drag that across there. See how that's forming into a liquid? You just want to pat that right there on the end. Now this is a little difficult at first but with practice you will get better. Just pat that on there. Smooth it down and then you take your brush and kind of just go over to the backside just like that to kind of get that smooth edge on the back. Wipe your brush off, the excess. Just kind of pat it down. Smooth it down dragging your brush. Just like that. Okay and then we are going to go back with just a little bit of pink to just fill that ledge off. Drag it over the pink a little. See how it's going? Pat that and just pull it straight across on that white powder you just applied. And now what you have is a complete nail with an artificial tip with acrylic powder and that is how you apply acrylic to an artificial tip."

on 2/20/2009 I totally agree with the other comments here. As a newby to this process it was very confusing to see this method of application as it goes against all of the recent professional training that I have received.

on 8/2/2008 Seriously this video is way wrong and i believe that it should be removed. Ms Kimberly uses products that are toxic in the wrong way and if someone follows her instructions can cause serious health damage to someone.
I can believe that no one else made a comment about that here on ExpertVillage. The same video is on youtube posted by ExpertVillage and has multiple complaining and negative feedback.
