"Before we glue the design down, we want to lay it out and make sure that everything looks good before we actually set it down in the glue. First step is to cut off anything that you're not going to use on your piece. For me, I'm not going to use this string. I'm just going to go ahead and cut it off. Now I have my piece. I'm just going to lay it down right where I want to glue it. You know what, I'm noticing it's upside down. Good thing I didn't set it in glue. Now, you want to make sure that it's pretty much where you want it to be. Really position it. Trying moving it a little bit left, a little bit right, a little bit up, down, what not, especially if you have more than one piece. Once you set it in glue, you can change it within the first couple of minutes, but pretty much when the glue dries, it's going to be very hard to change the design. You really want to lay it out and make sure its exactly how you want it to be. This obviously, is a very simple design. There's not a whole lot of rearranging that's going on. If you have more than one piece, then it's going to be different. There are multiple places that you can put down each piece. If you're doing rhinestones or crystals, then there are so many variations. You basically want to really make sure that you've tried everything that you think you might like. Once you set it down in the glue, it's very messy to undo it. It's not quite as easy as taking paint off. It's pretty much set in stone. Especially when it dries, it's very hard to get off. Definitely play with it a little bit. Make sure that you have the design that you really like."
