"Hi! I'm Kristine Mueller. Welcome to Expert Village. Today I'm going to show you how to make your very own custom belt buckle. It's very cool. I've been doing all kinds of arts and crafts now for about 20 some years. I've taken classes all over the country at 5 different art schools and worked various designers, as well as sold my own pieces in stores around L.A. I have a little bit of expertise and I would love to share it with you today. It's really a cool thing to do to have something that you've made to reflect your own individual style and taste. It's unique. Nobody else is going to have it. What you need to get started is basically just a belt, a buckle, and a piece or ornament that you're going to want to use to create your buckle. You can just about use anything. You want to try to match your piece with the buckle. I'll get into that later. So far, if you have your belt, your buckle, and your jewelry, you're really just going to need some glue, some wire cutter scissors, and maybe some tweezers if you're working with crystals or rhinestones. We'll get into that more later."
