Sleeve Length & Wrist Measurements

"So, when taking measurements for the suit, you're going to want to measure your sleeve length and your sleeve, your wrist circumference. You can also go ahead and throw in the bicep circumference as well. That will help out a lot with any tailor. And it's a different position for, from the suit, or, excuse me, from the shirt. With the shirt sleeve length we started all the way at the neck seam. With the suit sleeve length, we're going to start at that seam that the sides or the shoulder seam and the sleeve seam, where the sleeve fits in. So we're going to start right here and then we go all the way to the wrist bone, to where we want it to hit. You know, most, most nice suits hit, hit about here, you know. And so you go all the way to where you want that to hit on your arm, and then you take your wrist circumference. And you can just go ahead and do your wrist and the tailor who is making the suit will make the adjustments. And you do your wrist circumstance down here. And then you take the fullest point of your bicep, and you measure the circumference there. And I'll draw that so that makes more sense visibly for you. So, we started at that shoulder seam, where the shoulder seam and the sleeve fit in, that's our starting point, which is right there. And then we go all the way down, to where we want it to hit on our wrist, and that's our sleeve line. And then right here, we have the bicep circumference. And then we have the wrist circumference. And that should be sufficient for anybody who is making you a tailored sleeve."
