Measure a Neckband to Make a Pattern

"Okay so I have the front and the back completely trace and trued. And now I'm gonna deal with the neck band and like you remember here's our neck band and that was the side seam so we can fold it in half. Now neck band in t-shirts have to be slightly smaller than this distance and this distance so you can fit them in and they pull inward. So we're gonna work on that. So, okay, we have the side seams here, and this is like the front, the back is folded. It?s completely symmetrical all the way around, the neck band on a t-shirt. And now, we want to find the front of that, so we gonna fold it in half again, and then we're gonna measure it with our ruler and we got, we just go all the way around it , kind of walking around it, and we've got 7. So we gonna take our ruler, we just gonna draw a line here and we gonna start it here, just T it off at the top, then make it straight, and that's by putting this line on the ruler on this lane, you know, you make a perfect right angle."
