"As a designer, I feel that it's most important to get my idea down on paper quickly and as quick as possible rather than getting the proportions right on how the head is suppose to be this big and its under, and maybe I'm not that skilled of a drawer to be able to get that every single time. So I use this template to start because I'm more interested in the idea that I'm trying to get in my head on the paper than drawing the perfect person. So as you see I got this perfect person drawn here, I take a piece of tracing paper and my next step is to just trace over this entire girl. So, I'm just gonna be exact and trace over the lines here. I left the lines really minimal on purpose, you know, so just she becomes like a template because that really allows for freedom. And I think when you're head's raising and you're trying to get an idea down on paper, you don't really like to draw a person foremost and you're more of a 3D person or you just not interested, you know, you want to do it faster, this is a good way to accomplish all that, you know. You already draw your girl and now you can just start with her and focus on the clothes. So I'm tracing the whole thing and outfits, something that I can use over and over again. Okay."
