"Hi, my name is Lauren and on behalf of Expert Village I'm here to show you how to achieve various styles through using regular braids. The next thing that we are going to do incorporating braids is the ponytail with a twist. What you are going to is you're going to bring your hair back into a regular ponytail. You are then going to section it putting your rubberband and make that a little bit tighter that way you have a little bit more hold. Now I'm going to grab a larger section from the underneath of this ponytail. I'm going to use a little bit of spray just to smooth. Go in with my peace sign fingers to separate it and just kind of braid this out. I want it to stand out a little bit more that's why I grabbed a larger section. The larger the section the larger the braid. Just keep that in mind whenever you go to braid the hair and whenever you want use it to emphasize and enhance different looks. I'm going to use our smaller rubberband to tie it off. Then there are two different options that you can have. You can either one, use it to cover that ponytail holder, which you are simply going to wrap it around. Use your pins and place them going down, holding the braid into the ponytail holder. Or, what you can do , which is a little bit more fun, is actually go around and wrap your ponytail. And then you can either do a medium rubber band, and just kind of hold that into place, so that way it will stay. Where you have a bit of a funkier ponytail. Or you can then take it and actually wrap it around again and create more of a funky bun. So there's different versatility, different things that you can do using braids. You can take an average ponytail and make it a little bit more funky, give it a little bit more of a twist just by adding a bit of a braid and manipulating it in different ways."
