"Hi! I"m Karen for Expert Village. Now I am going to show you how to make a shirt collar button repair using a reinforcement patch on the inside of the fabric. First you will need a small piece of fabric that will need to go into the back. This is a little bit large so I am going to cut it a little bit smaller and a small piece of iron on interfacing. We only need a small piece because it is a very small hole. We need a patch there in order to sew the button and keep the collar in place. So we will just cut a very small square and cut same size of the iron on interfacing. It is good to just trim off a little bit so that the interfacing is slightly smaller than the piece of fabric and let's iron on that interfacing onto the fabric. That will give it a good stiffening and make that fabric sturdy. "
