"In this clip we're going to talk about how often you should receive a salt flow treatment. To be honest, there really are no rules. I know my friend here likes to get a treatment about once a week. Although most people it's good enough to have it once a month. Really important because the skin turns over every 28 days. Your body has a cycle, and just like women with their menstrual cycle, the whole body sheds their skin in 28 days. We really want to keep this skin exfoliated and smooth and, a smooth skin is a healthy skin, right Lizzy? "That's right." And it heals faster. So we want to make sure the skin is nice and smooth. Just in case there's any abrasions, it also will heal without scarring as well. When the skin is moisturized it's much less prone to breakages and micro-lacerations, small cuts, so less chance of infection. Especially during the winter months, it's really important to keep this up as often as possible. If you can, I would recommend once a week. But if you can't, once a month will be fine. As you can see her skin is nice and smooth now."
