How to Model Hats: Part 1

"Aloha! I'm Lady K. I'm here on behalf of Expert Village and I'm here to talk to you about some basic modeling. On the subject of hats, I think the most important thing that you need to make sure is that the hat fits properly. In front of me I have two hats, very similar, one is the right size, one is not. When trying on a hat, making sure that it fits correctly. Make sure that you can push that hat all the way down to the top of your head and that it fits and shapes your head properly. For example, this hat I can put all the way down and actually to each side without causing a lump or a bump on the top. This hat, which is too small, when I push it to the side, I have to push it up a little bit therefore it gives me a misshape on my head. Compare wrong size hat to the right size hat. So always make sure the hat fits. "
