"Hi! I'm Kathy Edwards and this is my beautiful model Melanie Immanuel for Makeup by Kathy and we are here on behalf of Expert Village. Alright now for her blush there are several different ways you can apply blush. If you have a person who has a very round face, then you will want to apply their blush in a V-shape. If you have somebody that has a very long face, then you want to make sure and apply their blush horizontally. If you apply the brush in a long straight downwards, then it will make her face look longer so you have to make sure and shorten their face just a little bit by applying their blush in a horizontal shape. Here we are going to apply blush to the apples of her cheeks. There are a couple of different ways. You can actually use a highlighter for the top of the cheek and then use a darker shade of blush just underneath in the hollow of the cheekbone and that will make her cheeks look like they are contour just a little bit. So we are going to do that. You want to make sure that you are using a good cheek blush brush. You want to have one that has a little bit of a rounded head on it and I am going to use what we call Tahiti Glow as the highlighted blush and we are going to use a little bit of a browner shade kind of a moth color as her contour shade of blush. So I am going to begin with the Tahiti Glow and I am just going to lightly put a little bit of color on there and there again, I want to knock the powder down into the bristles just a little bit so that it comes out just a small amount at a time. Now I am using the highlighter shade of blush and I am going to go just on top of her cheek just to give her a little bit of highlighter color there and then we are going to come in with a darker contour shade just under the apples of her cheeks, just in the hollow of her cheeks and that gives her just a little more shade and it makes her look like she has really high cheekbones.
