How to Use Face Cleanser Before Applying Evening Makeup

"Hi! I'm Kathy Edwards and this is my beautiful model Melanie Immanuel for Makeup by Kathy and we are here on behalf of Expert Village. We are going to begin this evening first by cleansing our skin and making sure that we are prepared to put our makeup on. So we are first going to use our cleanser and then we are going to use a good toner and moisturizer. Those are the three steps that you need to make sure that your foundation and your makeup is going to stay on really nicely throughout the evening. Okay I am going to put a little bit of cleanser on Melanie's fingertip and I am going to have her touch her forehead, each of her cheeks and on her chin and on the center of her face. You don't want to have to lose a lot of cleanser. You also don't want to use a cleanser that has a lot of soap in it. Okay now Melanie if you will just take your fingertips and put a little bit of the cleanser on your forehead, on each of your cheeks, on your chin and on your nose I would like for you to take it and rub it lightly into your skin. It is going cleanse your skin and take the makeup off that she already has on so that the makeup will be fresh as we apply it later in the evening. Just rub very lightly on your forehead. I remember that when you pull and tuck on your skin that it will actually cause you to start forming wrinkles so you want to not pull on your skin any more than you need to because you of course don't want to have wrinkles as you start to age.
