Uses for Earrings: Fashion Accessories From the Jewelry Box

" Hi! My name is Kathy we’re at My Lords and Ladies in Stratford, Ontario on behalf of expertvillage.com we’re going to talk today about jewelry specifically earrings. We’re going to deal a little more with clip on earrings because we’re going to use these to embellish other products. It’s nice just to find one simple gold pair and one simple pair of rhinestones, you can work with silver if you prefer it. Simply take your earring with the clip on it and you can use it to change the shape of any neckline, on here I can just take and clip this over a little bit further just like this and suddenly it looks like a different kind of top altogether, clip them on the edge of spaghetti strap tops right where the top and the strap meet suddenly it has the look of evening wear. This can be done on other things as well as your clothing, a simple black velvet with rhinestones against it, it looks great and that can hang over the top of a suit jacket, you can do this on the lapels of a jacket, it doesn’t matter what you’re clipping to as long as it’s thick enough that won’t slide off. That’s using it directly on yourself but on the accessory side like this scarf let’s pick that basic little black purse, again we just open it up because this one will stabilize on the handle cause it’s fabric, we’re going to clip one on each side same thing goes again now we have an evening bag instead of a daytime bag. One more little trick a hat you could just clip this into the center of the bow and a little sparkle goes a long way. It doesn’t matter whether it’s daytime, evening there is always the right earring out there, clip ons work better than pierced but if it’s a fabric that you can push through without picking or pulling you can do the same thing with pierced earrings, have fun with it."
