" Hi! My name is Kathy and we’re at My Lords and Ladies in Stratford, Ontario on behalf of expertvillage.com we’re going to talk about jewelry and this time it is going to be coordinating our jewelry with other accessories. Right in front of me here we have a nice three piece suit the feature of the suit is that the jacket has gold on it, so we simply take a nice gold long necklace to go into the center there’s our jewelry but the other accessory we want to work from we can pull shoes into it. To put these shoes with this necklace and it gives us a little bit of fun and glam all at the same time still keeping a gold theme. We can do the same thing this has a little more elegant feel to it but now let’s take over to a little casual, on this particular outfit we’ve just went all brown and a heavy duty gold necklace we can use that exact same pair of shoes and we end up with a very different look but using exactly the same concept. This can be incorporated into anything you do, if you’re going to match up your accessories to make them the statement just make sure that if you have rhinestones keep with rhinestones, if you have pink keep with pink, don’t get splashing all over the place it’s just a little too busy. One more example of how we can do it is let’s go to the elegant line this time, accessories a nice fur wrap we can do this over the top of a cocktail dress, an evening gown, even black slacks and a silk blouse, throw on a little bit of rhinestone with it it’s splashy, a little evening bag again with some rhinestones on that, these accessories all put together with the necklace should take you out on a night in a town any place you want to go, that’s in a silver mode let’s go for the gold. Here’s your basic little black cocktail dress with the accessory we’ve choose some gold to match of course the jewelry that we’re starting everything from, these two pieces have a little bit of vintage feel so I want to keep that going, a little bit of black beads on the edge it insinuates the black dress underneath, once again this could take you to a business meeting that’s a little bit special or out for drinks afterwards. The one thing to remember is coordinate, make sure that everything brings it comes together into a full circle so that you don’t look just splashed together."
