Storing Earrings: Fashion Accessories From the Jewelry Box

" Hi! My name is Kathy I’m here at My Lords and Ladies in Stratford and on behalf of expertvillage.com we’re going to talk about jewelry. In this segment let’s take care of our earrings, first and foremost earrings come in two and they get lost so let’s keep them together. The easiest way to do that is find a small container that has different compartments in it, simply take your earrings pop them into their own allotted slots and they’re always organized. If you don’t want to go out and do this simply head to the kitchen, everyone of those egg crates that you have in the bottom cut the lid off and again you have every little individual egg slot and you can put your earrings in that, stack them up in your dresser drawer and it’ll do exactly the same thing for you. Another way to do it is simply take an old picture frame this keeps things decorative as well, what I’ve done is taken a piece of mesh fabric but you can also take a piece of mesh metal add it on behind and then you can hang that on the wall, easy access push into it because it’s mesh we simply hang your pair of earrings together on there and every time you need them you can see them pop them off and away you go and it looks very pretty in your bedroom or where ever it happens to be. If you have a lot of earrings and you need more space than that a good way to do it is take that same fabric, this time put on a long rod I used two small curtain rods, take a fancy string, ribbon, whatever you want hang that on the back of your door and again take those earrings hang it right into the mesh and it’ll take care of everything. One important thing is that when you have necklace and earrings together and you don’t want to loose them simply take the necklace and at the bottom of the chain where you’re going to hook it together take the earrings, take them apart and hook your earring right through the chain so that your necklace and earrings are together all the time that way you won’t loose them separately and then have to find a new pair to match up.
