" Hi! My name is Kathy and we’re at My Lords and Ladies in Stratford, Ontario and we are going to be talking on behalf of expertvillage.com about jewelry. Let’s start off with the storing of jewelry we’ll start off with necklaces today. Our necklaces tend to be long, dangly, the get tangled up more than anything else we have, so to keep them protected I suggest to go and get some simple fabric, soft something that doesn’t catch, stretchy, cut it into rectangles and you can pick this up at any fabric store. Simply lay your jewelry your necklace along it, fold over one side, the other side, end to end and there you have it’s not going to catch, snag, break on anything and then you can just layer these into a jewelry box, a dresser drawer whatever the case may be that’s one simple way and this is very good to travel with. Next all I did was take a little pole this could be a wooden doling, anything you want, put a ribbon, a tassel onto the ends and then you can simply hang this on the wall, take your piece of jewelry hook it around it and hang it from there you can hang a half of dozen necklaces on one of these rods and keep them same from harm. Another way would be simply go and get little storage boxes within then these boxes you have containers that have dividers with all of the areas in it, you can simply lay each individual necklace into it’s alotted slot always put your matching earrings in with it, that’s a very simple form. Next for all those really long necklaces this is a rack that you buy at any departments store hang that on the wall and then just simply hang your necklaces off every single hook, this could also be done with a key rack or a piece of wood that you put your own screws into, hang it up on the wall and everything hangs perfectly even I suggest that you put this behind the door. For anyone of these things it’s an expensive way to go about it and it keeps everything safe and sound."
