"Hi! My name is Kathy and we are at My Lords and Ladies. On behalf of expertvillage.com, we are going to talk about purses today. Purses can be a little bit hazardous. So let us try and stay clear of a few options that we do not always think on. Perhaps we have on beautiful silk blouse. Well, it costs a lot of money for beautiful silk blouse and we do not want to catch it on everything. So if you have on a very fine fabric or something that in itself is beaded, try and choose a purse with a very wide smooth strap. The wide smooth strap will slide over those items and not get caught on the beads or snag into silk and leave you with runs. It does not have to be a short purse; I am just simply showing you an alternative to this strap because a lot of purses out there have little beaded straps and chain straps. Chain straps snag on many, many things. When choosing a purse even it is not going over your shoulder, there are a couple of downfalls as well. This is a beautiful bag but every one of the stones has got little eyeteeth holding it in there. They will snag on things as well. If you are wearing a georgette or chiffon stay clear of anything like this. They are beautiful but they can be hazardous. One more thing to stay clear from, if you have all of these danglers coming down off of it, I am not sure if you can see it but every one of these can be looped into. If you get those caught, suddenly you have beads rolling all over the floor or you are going to have to ask somebody to untangle it from the beads upon your dress. There is an appropriate time and place for everything. I tend to do these very fancy, fancy bags with a simple outfit. When we get too much stuff going on, it usually ends up that one or the other does not work. "
