"Hi! My name is Kathy and we are at My Lords and Ladies. On behalf of expertvillage.com, we are going to talk about purses today. Now we are going to move right along to a larger purse. Pretty much the same concept as the evening bag but we get to use a little more flamboyant of things this time because we have more space to work in. If you want to use a larger purse, generally they have a smaller handle. So when you put this purse up you have to make sure that there are not things that are going to catch on your arms or that when you hang it down at your side, that it is not going to drag on the floor. Generally speaking if we have a purse like this, we tend to put it over our shoulder instead of hanging it arms length regardless. So with this basic purse we are going to really jazz this one up. We have shawls that you can put right over top of your head, so just make sure that your shawl has a large opening. Take your shawl and open it up and where you would normally put your neck through, put both your handles through. When you do this it will drape overtop of the entire purse. You can still get in and out of your purse because that is the same spot that your neck would have gone through. At this point you are certainly not going to hold it at arms length but it certainly makes a fashion statement when you are walking down the street; everything is going to be swinging. You will be noticed a mile away as you approach. The next little trick that we can take on is take this back away and we are going to take a simple, simple wrap. We can take a wrap or a scarf. This time I am going to choose silver, just to have a little different look and all we need to do is find the center, take one side of your handle, do not put it through both then we will not be able to get into the bag, wrap it around and simply tie yourselves a nice big bow. First do your knot to secure it, make a big bow; it can be sloppy, nice and floppy, we like movement. I always choose things that have fringes at the bottom so that they can move around. So at that point there we are again. It is a little longer but it does make a statement. It will swing out across your legs; depends on what texture you choose to put on each individual bag. That is always a fun one and then we can do the same thing as we did with her other evening bag. This time, we will take a hair clip again. Because we have a larger purse let us take a larger clip, simply put it on the edge and again we have a statement, netting in feathers a little bit of movement but not as swishy as the other one and that should do it for your large bag on this one.
